She's Back

Took a brief hiatus.
Business plans in the making, bar construction, restaurant accounting papers strewn out across the condo, revelations of the authentic, dismissal of the regular, party planning, vacationing to Vegas, allthewhile, truly defining herself.

Prior to her intermission, she began to grow a bit restless, rather exhausted by the mundane formalities of daily life, so she decided to add 2 teaspoons of seasoning salt, 7 sprinkles of cayenne pepper and an undisclosed amount of my special "house" seasoning.

Now She's back.
Thank you for sticking around, thank you for allowing her to locate herself amidst the chaotic medley of heartbeats.

A loved one shared something valuable with me that I would like to pass on to you in this introduction of her return. There comes a time in life when we are allowed a choice, we can either numb our talents and settle for what pays the bills, what keeps us constant, keeps us regular; Or we can walk to a cliff and jump.

Please allow me to explain.
Following your dreams is not easy, it is incredibly challenging, and especially if we aren't even clear on what our dreams truly consist of. Some people have obvious passions that they pursue, but the majority of folks are in search of themselves, with no google maps, map quest or GPS capability.

This is not encouraging you to end your life altogether, but it is an encouragement for you to let go of the life that doesn't exhibit your talents and contributions to the world, and begin a new life where you will be joined by other equally motivated and free spirits, away from the poisonous feelings of insecurity, jealously and fear. Once you reach this level of knowing yourself, you will be invincible, and like Kanye and Jeezy once chanted, you will also. . .

I do realize that a lot of people have responsibilities, financial, family, et cetera. . .but don't allow these obligations exist as excuses for why you cannot progress. You may not be able to quit your job immediately, and you may loathe the concept of 1/3 of your day being frozen by anti-creative forces, but that doesn't mean that you cannot construct a game plan for yourself with goals, dates, and plans of action. It is all about self motivation, and only YOU can motivate yourself.

During this process you will feel as though you are losing a grasp, that's when you jump, and moments thereafter the climax, the resolution presents itself. . .

you have created yourself.

Congratulations & Warmest Wishes,

Amina of Les Beaux Nuages
